The BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed to teach healthcare professionals the skills needed to recognize life-threatening emergencies and perform high-quality CPR for patients of all ages. This course follows the latest American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines and provides hands-on practice with manikins and AED trainers.
Through realistic scenarios and expert instruction, you'll learn to work effectively as part of a resuscitation team, communicate clearly during emergencies, and deliver life-saving interventions with confidence.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course. However, students should be able to perform the physical requirements of CPR, including:
- Kneeling beside a manikin on the floor
- Performing chest compressions (minimum depth of 2 inches)
- Giving rescue breaths

What You'll Receive
Upon successful completion, you'll receive an official AHA BLS Provider eCard. This digital card can be accessed immediately and printed as needed.
Validity Period
Your BLS certification is valid for 2 years from the date of completion. We recommend scheduling your renewal course before your current certification expires.
Renewal Information
Renewal courses are available for current BLS providers. The renewal course is shorter (about 3 hours) and focuses on updated guidelines and skills practice.

Please bring a valid photo ID to verify your identity for certification. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to kneel on the floor and perform chest compressions. Avoid restrictive clothing, high heels, and excessive jewelry.
All training materials, manikins, and AED trainers are provided. Light refreshments will be available.
Your AHA BLS Provider eCard will be issued within 24 hours of successfully completing the course. You'll receive an email with instructions on how to access and download your digital certification card.
Don't worry! Our instructors provide thorough training and practice time to ensure you're prepared. If you don't pass on the first attempt, you'll have an opportunity to remediate and retry during the same class session at no additional cost.
